Thanks that worked for me (I also used Git (1.6.5.1) ssh). The trick is editing the svn config file.

I never managed to get Subversion to work with PuTTY either, but I found a way to have it work with the SSH client that ships with Git, which I already use anyway. This is nice because you won't have to install Cygwin or the openssh package.

I believe it was indeed you who urged me to do this some time in 2007...apologies for the delay, but better late than never :)

Hooray! Was it you I requested this from about two years ago? :-)
It's been a while since I've logged into anything with it, mind - so long that apparently openid 2.0 is either the default, or is no longer supported by my backend (so openid2.server tags are Just Wrong)...

My solution has always been little blobs of white tack, particularly for those things that really don't need to be telling you anything.

My bluetooth dongle had a bright blue *flashing* light that wouldn't even stop when you turned the computer off, and would illuminate the room with each flash. The white tack made me so much happier...

michael :
I think you actually want `sudo rndc reload’.

Equally so, you could run `sudo rndc reload dnorth.net` :-)

Regardless, many thanks for the great info. Got me up and running in minutes.
