London on one of the hottest days of the year is a good working definition of hell.

But, it’s easy to forget that it would have been much worse a few years ago before the Elizabeth Line was up and running. Having an air conditioned, sensibly sized direct route across London from Paddington to various central and Docklands venues is a boon for those of us who come in occasionally for work and have clients in that area.

And the dinner and drinks on a roof near St Paul’s were Not Bad.
