Is your Mikrotik router up to date?

My Mikrotik router has been providing fault free service for seven years now and is still going strong. Recently, though, I wanted to run WireGuard VPNs on it, which the internet suggests you can do, but the interface on mine had no sign of.

As it turns out, you need to select the “upgrade” channel on older devices to get from RouterOS 6.x to 7.x, and boom:

Really nice to get software updates for older kit like this. It also looks like a significant facelift over the older version.
